Has anyone noticed the papers Atashi carries? One of them is completely black on one side, filled with ink and pencil marks, while the other is always white.
The black paper is "sealed" by her drawings, as it contains the five evil masks that plague people's minds and drive them to a suicidal insanity. Atashi keeps them inside her paper and unknowingly strengthens the seal every time she draws on it.
Unfortunately, they can still convey their voices into her mind at times, and temporarily break free of the seal if the paper is dropped.
Atashi has to endure their torment until Seven or any of her other creations comes along and chase the masks back into the paper.
